Meet your cosmetic dentist Dr. Medha Singh, DMD
Dr. Medha Singh received her Bachelor in Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from Government Dental College in India. She received her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. After which she decided to pursue training in the Advanced Education Program in Periodontology, and a Master of Science (MS) degree from Tufts University School of Dental
Medicine. She received further training in Oral Implantology from Harvard School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Singh is Certified by the American Board of Periodontology (Diplomate) and an Academic Fellow of the American Academy of Oral Medicine.
She is a scholar of the Academy for Academic Leadership and American Dental Education Association Institute for Teaching and Learning program for Health Professions. She is also an academic fellow of the American Academy of Periodontology Foundation.
She has received fellowships in several dental honor societies such as the American College of Dentists, International College of Dentists, Pierre Fauchard Academy, Omicron Kappa Epsilon National Dental Honor Society, and Sigma Xi Scientific Research Honor Society.
Dr. Singh serves as an Assistant Professor at Boston University School of Dental Medicine in the postgraduate Periodontology department.
Because of her research and scholarly work Dr. Singh served as the Chair of the Periodontics section of American Dental Education Association. She also served as a scientific group and network officer at the Geriatric Research Oral Group of the International Association for Dental Research.
For her research, scholarly activities and service Dr. Singh was awarded an international scholarship granted by the International Team for Implantology (ITI) Foundation, Switzerland to further her training in Oral Implantology at Harvard School of Dental Medicine, Harvard University.
Dr. Singh has been working as a periodontist in multispecialty private practices in Massachusetts performing periodontal and dental implant procedures. She provides comprehensive periodontal treatment care to pediatric and adult patients. She manages the responsibility of administrator as well as clinician in private practice.
Dr. Singh brings to the dental practice extensive academic and clinical experience.
